Tigran Poghosyan

The Partner architect, Tigran Poghosyan, founded the Architecture Construction and Design studio with Hrachyan Poghosyan in 1997.
Since his experience with ACD, Tigran Poghosyan, has had overall responsibility for managing ACD's practice in architecture, interior design and product design.
His persona is reclusive, elusive, almost solitary and his work - it is exclusive, abstruse and almost rarefied.
Tigran always tries to rearrange the environment somehow, to shape, to construct, to devise, whether it be buildings, institutions, enterprises, or theories. He looks upon the world -- natural and civil -- as little more than raw material to be reshaped according to their design, as a formless stone for their hammer and chisel.
Before starting a project Tigran visions the significance of what he will design -- an exquisitely beautiful, functional structures that was suitable for a wide variety of residential and commercial applications.
Since 1986 he has been the Principal in Charge of multiple phases of designing and renovating private house and apartments in the City Center. He has been the Principal in charge of the feasibility study of the master plan of the Europolis city in Armenia [in cooperation with Dirk Bolt Consulting and Europolis foundation, Holland] as well.
Tigran designed a chain of hotels throughout Armenia as well - he came up with a structure that was both ancient and new.
He received his education at the Yerevan State Engineering (Politechnical) Institute, Department of Architecture and Construction, and Fenshyui.
